Kuta
Beach is located in the south of Bali Island. It is one of the interesting
tourist spots in Bali and is the main tourists’ destination. The beach is very
famous and became the mainstay of the island as a beach resort since the 70s. In
here you will see a very beautiful sunset.
Famous
Kuta beach has good waves for surfing, especially for beginners. Besides the
beauty of the beach, Kuta beach also offers various types of entertainment such
as bars, restaurants, shops, hotels and grocery stores, as well as street
vendors along the beach.
History
Formerly,
this beach is the habitat of the green turtle. The green turtle is endangered
and becoming one of the protected animals. Green turtle breeding has now been
transferred to Tanjung Benoa Beach.
How to
get there
Kuta
beach, takes about 10 minutes by car or motorcycle from Ngurah Rai
International Airport.
